Movement and Experience Collective
Powered by line dance.
Headquartered at National Harbor, Maryland.
Proudly serving the DMV and beyond.
Concrete Steppas™ is a movement and experience collective, powered by line dance, headquartered at National Harbor, Maryland. Founded by four women, we create participatory movement experiences through three signature programs: Concrete Fit™, Trust the Step™, and Sudoku for the Body™, alongside custom experiences developed with hosts and collaborators. We welcome corporate teams and conferences, wellness and community hosts, museums and cultural institutions, public agencies, airlines, airports, and hospitality organizations across the Washington, DC region and beyond. Alongside the experiences, we publish Written in Concrete™.
In our cultural and public programming, line dance is how we bring people together. Community wellness is the purpose: room for joy, laughter, friendship, and belonging.
Festivals, community days, museums, and public gatherings where line dance brings people into the culture and makes room for joy, connection, and community wellness.
Retreats, offsites, conferences, kickoffs, leadership gatherings and staff appreciation days, including airline and travel teams, built so a room moves together instead of watching a stage.
Line dance fitness, memory and movement sessions, workplace wellbeing, gyms and studios, public agency and neighborhood programming, and active aging, open to every level.
Hotels, resorts, cruise operators, waterfronts and visitor destinations. Guest experiences hosted by us, and line dance training for the teams who host every day.
Weddings, milestone celebrations, reunions, invitation-only gatherings and special productions. An experience shaped around your people, your setting and the moment you want to create.
Have a setting, an occasion, or an idea in mind? Let’s imagine what we could create together.
Working in travel? Airlines, airports and travel hospitality has a page of its own, for employees and for travelers.
Planning an event or building a client itinerary? For planners and destination partners

Heart Rates UP… Steps DOWN. A line dance fitness experience built for real rooms and real people, at any level, with no prior dance experience required. The program travels to you.
Listen.
Adapt.
Move together.
Movement as a leadership language. Built for teams, offsites, conferences, and organizations that want their people participating instead of watching another panel.

Movement
A memory game for the body. Music, spoken cues, patterns to recognize and sequences to remember, designed to encourage aging well through listening, remembering, and moving. It stands on its own and it also lives inside Concrete Fit™.

A record of movement, culture, and the people who carry it. Published by Concrete Steppas™. We keep the record while it is still happening.
The rooms change. The connection stays.

Concrete Steppas™ is a movement and experience collective, powered by line dance. We build rooms where people move together, and we keep the record of what gets made in them. A Black women-owned business headquartered at National Harbor, Maryland, founded by four women who decided this work was worth doing properly.
We are urban-facing by design. We are for urban culture wherever it lives: the music, the shared floors, and the people who keep the culture moving.
Turning “I can’t” into “I am.”
You show up for us. We show up for you.

We love our community, and our community loves us back. Concrete Steppa Nation™ is the togetherness we feel when we gather, the encouragement we carry with us, and the joy of being part of each other’s lives. Thank you for the love you bring. We love creating, celebrating, and building community with you.
On the floor and beyond it, we make time to connect, share a laugh, and celebrate one another. Being together is part of the joy.
You cheer us on, and we are cheering for you too. There is room here for each other’s ideas, businesses, and next chapters.
Every gathering holds something we bring to it together: a conversation, a new connection, a little courage, a lot of laughter.
For the love, the support, the kind words, and the time we share. We see it. We feel it. We appreciate you, and we love being part of your community too.
Written in Concrete™ documents line dance culture through an urban lens. It is rooted in the DMV and follows the dance through the Mid-Atlantic and beyond: the creators who make the steps, the instructors who teach them, the DJs who set the floor, the venues that hold it, the communities that keep it, the memory that carries it, and the way a dance travels from one room to the next.
Who made the dance? Who taught it? Which places and people helped it travel? We follow those questions while the memories are still close, giving the people who carry the culture a place in its record.
Life is our movie. Step and the City™ brings four women entrepreneurs and their shared story into focus. A podcast is also taking shape. Explore the stories and creative work moving with us.
Stories and SoundConcrete Steppas™ books corporate and conference gatherings, wellness programming, museums and cultural institutions, public agency and community programs, airlines, airports and hospitality, festivals and private events, across the DMV and beyond.
