Trust the Step™ is a facilitated leadership development, team-building, and corporate wellness experience from Concrete Steppas™, designed to help organizations strengthen human connection through movement, shared learning, and reflection.
Listen.
Adapt.
Move together.
An organization can be full of talented people and still experience disconnected teams, siloed working, and too few opportunities to build relationships across roles. Trust the Step™ creates a shared setting for people to practice the human side of working together: listening, communicating, adapting, contributing, and recovering when something does not go as planned.
Through guided line dance, participants process directions, act on their judgment, navigate unfamiliar steps, and find their rhythm with others. Music and movement bring enjoyment and social connection into the experience.
Guided reflection connects what happens on the floor with how people lead themselves, support colleagues, and contribute to a shared outcome.
Self-efficacy is the belief that you can carry out a particular task. We give that idea a practical setting: a sequence to learn, a chance to repeat it, encouragement from the room, and space to try again when a step goes sideways.
Guided reflection starts with what actually happened. What helped you begin? How did you respond when you missed a count? What did someone beside you do that helped? Together, we explore how those moments relate to asking for help, supporting a colleague, and staying engaged while learning something unfamiliar.
Our wider ambition at Concrete Steppas™ is turning “I can’t” into “I am.” On this floor, we begin with something specific a person can practice.
Trust the Step™ is designed for companies, public agencies, and institutions seeking to strengthen connection, collaboration, and wellbeing across their workforce. It brings employees, teams, and leaders into a shared experience where they can practice listening, adapting, contributing, and working together.

No dance experience is required.
Companies, public agencies, and institutions seeking stronger team connection, meaningful employee engagement, or a participatory approach to workplace wellbeing are invited to explore a Trust the Step™ pilot.
We begin with your organization’s challenge and objectives. Together, we shape a focused experience and agree on how participant feedback, observations, and practical takeaways will be documented to inform next steps.
